We came here with a party of 4 on Saturday evening, June 27 and enjoyed probably one of our best menus/dinners outdoors ever. Everything was just perfect and superb. It was an extremley lovely summer day in June. At last a Summer day to enjoy dinner outside, so we sat outside. Everything about this place is superb. The location, the view, the hospitality, the food, I mean the excellent quality of it all, the variety, the detail. It was simply mouthwatering. What a palatal delight. We so thoroughly enjoyed it that we left speechless. From starters to dessert is was simply superb. All organic and regional and the wines were amazingly tasty. We finished off indoors with a digestive and lovely coffees: cappucinos and espressos accompanied with amaretti. What an evening to remember. This is a real treasure trove or a find you want to keep to yourslef, but I highly recommend it to all. Wish I could come back to this place as soon as possible. It's just 26 kilometres away from Groningen city, 20 miles. Such a peaceful location, quiet and beautiful scenery. We are extremely happy to have stumbled across this restaurant thanks to Groupon. Absolutely value for money. Oh yeah, one of us left his bag inside and the owner immediately came rushing after us to hand it back, what an attentive staff.
