La Traviata in Amsterdam

Sub-par on every dimension, except location. Regarding the food, the pasta is dry, and the pizza dough is not truly Italian style. The atmosphere and service are below the standards of equally cheap Italian restaurants in the Rembrandtplein area. The female owner, who also serves for most of the day, is rude and attempts to rush people out the door as quickly as possible (more similar to an American chain restaurant than an independent European one). There is very little reason to go to this restaurant given the selection in the surrounding area.
