Explanation:
I have a severe intolerance to spicy peppers, any kind (Lombok, rawit, Madame Jeanette, jalapenos, etc.). Since restaurants often appear to think I'm making it up and just don't like spicy food, I have had been served spicy foods way too many times. Which always leaves me wondering how restaurants would treat customers whom are deathly allergic to something. Personally, I'd prefer if they just tell me it's not possible. Then I'll just eat somewhere else, where I won't get sick. Anyways, I had dinner at Rodeo Rotterdam today and have had the worst experience yet. I had messaged them before hand asking if it would be a problem, no no problem just tell the waiter. In the restaurant I tell the first waiter, he said he'd ask the chef and get back to me but didn't. I tell the second waiter, she tells me no problem, she'd seen my previous message, and she takes my order.

I order three things and two dishes had a sauce with chilli in it! My appetizer had chili sauce, just plain chilli sauce on it. I told them it had chilli sauce, repeated my request, owh yeah owh yeah so sorry, and they prepared it for me again. The next dish had spicy salsa on it, and when I told the staff they told me I was wrong. I told them I wasn't, they asked the kitchen, and then told me I was right. And again I had to wait for them to make it again.

I didn't want to cause a scene, but I have never been angrier going out for dinner. I will never ever eat here again, and hope they don't end up making someone very ill or worse.

To the restaurant, just shame on you. I honestly think some of you should find a different job, where you can't make people ill.
