El Caballo in Alphen aan den Rijn

For the past few years (over 10!) I have been visiting El Caballo in Alphen a/d Rijn. This place feels like home for me. Every time I want to take someone out for dinner, I take them here. The reason? Their specialty of Spareribs.

Their specialty is one reason to come over to El Caballo but there is also a real cozy place. The environment that they created is unique in its kind due to the Argentine settlement.

The service is really good, also because I come here so often (about 15 times in 2014) that they remember their customers and treat them carefully. (Always kind and polite.)

Even so when I eat about 4-5 spareribs each time I get there, I take an ice coupe. The combination of spareribs with that dessert makes my day perfect. I hope that they will keep existing for ever so I can bring more people towards El Caballo to let them feel and taste the perfectness all around.
