De Haas in Elburg

I was the first time in Elbrug and we sat down for a cup of coffee in the first cafe in the street to catch the last sun rays. It was great! So good, that after a walk in the town, we came back to the cafe for dinner and never regretted!
It did feel like eating in a restaurant, a simple dish but with a twist, that you would not make at home. Big portions! I did not have to ask what I can have instead of fries, because the portion comes with fries, salad and grilled vegetables and refills are possible. Heaven for big eaters and those who watch their figure!
We had to wait a little longer than needed before being noticed to be seated, but I guess and was due to being really busy as the restaurant was full. That was quickly compensated by the attentive service and tasty food! Well done.
