't Golfje in Terschelling Midsland

Great restaurant, certainly by far the best of Terschelling.
Some might say that the menu is not very extensive however, since they only work with fresh, seasonal, local products the variety if offers is more than satisfactory and the menu is regularly changed. During our 6 weeks in the island we have eaten there once a week, here is out hit parade: tartare of sea bas - refined, delicate, simply sublime; the see fruits of the Wad (although the bisque is also worth mentioning) - the sea in your plate, simply thinking of it brings water to my mouth and images of a sunny evening by the sea; veal cheeks - I’m not much into meat beside the usual steak but this, this is truly worth trying; and the ravioli, how to forget the ravioli! All dishes have that little twist that makes them absolutely unique and unforgettable. Amazing are also the little mises en bouches that also change regularly. The service is competent, friendly and discreet. In short, if only for ‘t Golfje it is worth to visit Terschelling… many times…
