De Beren in Den Haag

I ordered the menu that I’ve wanted to order for a long time; the steak with two side dishes by choice. I couldn’t choose between the jacket potato or the break bread but since I had break bread at home myself, I ordered the jacket potato. As the second option I chose for apple sauce. Even tho I had nothing to eat it with, I do like apple sauce and it was a free option anyway. I could always scoop it out with a spoon or reserve it for later! After ordering I figured that the site forgot to include my sauce for the steak even tho I pressed on it. I called the shop to ask if this was the case, this lovely man picked up and told me that was unfortunately indeed the case. There wasn’t any way to pay for the sauce so I could still get it with my order, so he told me it was on the house!! Such a nice gesture and the food was also delicious, just as I thought it would be! Definitely would recommend this. Bonus: they’ve got unlimited spareribs to eat on Mondays!!
