Da Pio in Valkenburg

The food was truly delicious but the service was absolutely the worst we have experienced in europe for the past seven weeks. It took more than 1-1/2 hours for my husband to just get his entree — and it was only spaghetti with tomato sauce! We had to get up repeatedly to ask for things - the wine menu - the salt and pepper - ordering the wine - getting our bill - paying the bill. Just ridiculous. Our waitress was very friendly when she took our order but ignored us most of the evening - very busy chatting and looking at photos on the phone of another guest. We won’t be coming back again. If you don’t mind waiting a very long time - this is the place to go.
