Eethuis De Diepen in Milsbeek

This location is fantastic, but today's pancakes were very unappetizing. We ordered a lactose-free pancake which turned out to be hard and very dry. We also had a pancake with ham and cheese that was still reasonable but also dry and we ordered a pancake with parma ham, brie and walnuts. It was burnt and the lettuce was on top of the pancake with a load of mustard and dill sauce. This pancake floated on the plate. After correctly reporting this to a waiter, we were treated very rudely by the owner. We had to go and weren't allowed to come back! The owner said that every pancake restaurant had lettuce on a pancake. We agreed to this, but without a load of salad dressing everywhere and certainly not burned on both sides. The gentleman owner as he profiled himself was very customer unfriendly and I will not repeat his words here! We left and will never return to restaurant 'De Diepen', except because of the environment that this man understands his customers and not because of his friendliness and business management.
