I'm so surprised that this restaurant was donated a "Michelin star".
We felt the service was terrible, Mrs. Rive and the crew of young waiters and waitresses behaved as a troop of service men waiting in attention to take orders. Running to wait at the door on each customer arrival looked a trite silly and not necessary. Time enough to give the customer discerning service during the course of the evening.

We were offered a high table which looked terribly uncomfortable more suited to a fast food restaurant. We were then offered a small table by the door which included the cold and draft with each new customer arrival.

After waiting and drinking at their bar while my husband searched for a prized parking space, which took almost 20 minutes of driving around. I decided we should spend our money and evening elsewhere. We refused the table by the door politely for the reasons mentioned above and made our way to leave. To our absolute amazement, Mr. Rive ran out after us with his chef apron intact. He shouted now I have an empty table, you booked, what am I supposed to do with that.

We didn't respond except to say the table was not in the best of position and would prefer any other, and there were enough options. So that is our experience of this restaurant. I also think the sponsored uniform does not help the waiter/ess to look or behave relaxed. Unfortunately, service with a smile in my experience and friends is nowhere to be seen.

No I can not recommend this restaurant on many levels, absolutely nowhere near earning a MS. The point of this feedback is for the restaurant to take our comments and act upon them. I hope they do so and give their customers a better experience than we had.
