We had visited Charlie's Burger two times and every time their burgers are well-made and tasty. From our group nobody complained about their choice :) Frites deserve special mention. Burgers have distinct names, which helps to memorise favourites. They don't serve beer, but neighbouring cafes do and Charlie's Burger delivers it's burgers to those cafes.

We had a dinner in this restaurant on one sunny evening. Lack of people surprised us when we entered the restaurant. It does not have enough sunlight during evenings, that's why it feels too dark when it is sunny outside.
The staff was very polite. Later they had small chats with other visitors.
We had the Indonesian menu. The amount was more than enough for two people, meat was well cooked. Fried bananas were also considered well made.

Very nice restaurant away from the crowded streets of Utrecht.

During a weekend we visited Vapiano to have lunch. It was recommended by my friends who used to work nearby and visit Vapiano during lunch time.
The restaurant is located near the Amsterdam Public Library and near to water, which makes a view from the restaurant beautiful (it is also possible to sit outside, when it is warm and dry outside).
We had a pizza (freshly made) and a coffee with chocolate pie. Pizza was delicious. Dessert was sweet and tasty. Prices are very good for their menu (mostly pastas and pizzas).

We had a nice alumni meeting of 20 people in this restaurant. Surprisingly, the service was just excellent with deft waiters. They even satisfied a special diet for one of our guests. The food was delicious and with a variety of tastes (chicken, lamb, spicy dishes, different sauces).

The only problem we encountered is loud noise when the restaurant is full, so it was very difficult to talk to a person across the table.

Good location to eat in Amsterdam :)

We just visited this newly opened restaurant for lunch.
Restaurant is located in a very old building, which is reflected in its' unique architecture (high ceiling, old wood). Interior of the restaurant is aligned with it: black and white photos and nice wooden furniture.
The chef is very nice. He personally greets guests and asks for "special" requirements.
I had caesar salad with salmon and it was very light and fresh. I would not count it as a complete lunch, so aim for a dessert after it.
Dessert is fantastic! I highly recommend to try sticky toffee.
The special of the day was pork shoulder, which looks and smells delicious, that I shall try next time.
As a new restaurant, they don't offer dinners yet (only for private groups) and they don't have many dishes to choose from. Hopefully, they will adjust the menu over time to increase its' variety (the chef seems to be very capable of inventing tasty dishes).

Had a lunch with my colleagues at this restaurant recently. Option to have a big portion of a salad as a main course is nice. I opted-in for this option.
I had a feeling that a waiting time was a bit long.
For the meal itself: scampis were tasty, salad itself had nothing special for me. The price is more on the above average side.

Hidden gem in Utrecht! Chinese restaurant with cousine from Sichuan province, which means spicy food. I went there several times and every time tried something new and tasty. Interior is clean and bright with big aquarium. Also every time I have been here it was quiet inside, even though there were plenty of people inside. For the amount of food that can be ordered this restaurant can be considered having below average prices.

Small Cantonese restaurant near to Utrecht central station. We went there in the evening after shopping. The restaurant was quite busy and noisy. Some waiters are very slow and have quite bad attitude.
Food itself is good. I like pak choi with garlic. If one wants to try two different dishes then there is a combination dish that consists of two dishes of a smaller portions.
The restaurant is good to eat somewhere near to the central station for a reasonable price.

I had ribs in De Klos several times. One serving is more than enough for the evening. Ribs are massive and they come with sauce and a salad.
Usually, the cafe is pretty busy and one will need to wait. Luckily, there is a complementary bar on the other side of the road where waiter will come to inform you about your table.
The cafe itself has very interesting interior. Remember to look around to find some items, like very old diving suit.
Tasty ribs with great value for its price.
